just had an idyllic stay in Jann's cottage. Really cosy after a day out hiking, super comfy beds. Perfect for a swim in the Loch, and was lucky enough to see an otter and a seal in there today! Jane and Neil are very quick to respond to any question. Would definitely recommend :)

We had a lovely stay in Jan and Neil's place. It was very easy to find with good instructions and easy check in, Neil popped around to check we were settling in ok and that there were no issues. The place itself is beautiful, you have mountain and loch views from the bedroom and living room and the little conservatory at the front allows you to admire the view with a little more warmth than outside. There is a lovely picnic bench out the front where you can also enjoy sitting and admiring the view. We loved the private access to the water over a few rocks. The house itself is well finished with thoughtful touches such as flowers and lots of blankets. The kitchen has everything you could need to cook proper meals. We had a great time and would thoroughly recommend a visit to this beautiful little place.

My husband and I felt like we hit the AirBnB jackpot with this place. The pictures don't do it justice. The location is unbeatable, I can't imagine coming to the area and staying anywhere else. You're right on the banks of a beautiful loch, you're situated extremely well to explore the Isle of Skye (though you will want to just stay in the cottage, too, because it's so cozy), and the hosts were wonderful to chat with. Neil invited us to come hear his folk trio play at a pub in the next town over, Jann was full of restaurant recommendations, they were just really nice and we wanted to keep hanging out with them. Neil also had a fire roaring in the fireplace upon our arrival, which was a dream. We are already talking about coming back. Oh, and it's situated RIGHT on a train stop, though we never heard or were disturbed by this. It just means if you wanted, you could take the train here from Edinburgh and just camp out at the cottage for a relaxing retreat. Can't recommend enough.

Neil was a very friendly and gracious host. The photos don't do justice to how pretty of a location this cottage is. It's at the bottom of a hill right along the ocean in a small village with just a few other houses. Running the woodstove was a nice perk for warming up after rainy days in the Highlands.

Amazing cottage by the sea. Clean, well equipped with a fire place and all the amenities you might need. Views are something that you consider to see on postcards. Being so remote obviously there are no shops or pubs in a walkable distance, but that is part and parcel of the experience. Would we back - yes, 200%
