Sonia’s flat is a spacious three-bedroom, with two of them being suites, featuring a very large kitchen and a comfortable living room adorned with a lovely fireplace. The location is excellent, within walking distance from many key points in Edinburgh, and there are several nice restaurants nearby. Sonia has thoughtfully left a complimentary guest book in the house, suggesting and recommending various charming spots in Edinburgh. For the comfort of future guests, I would recommend ensuring that the fireplace is stocked with a bunch of wood and fire starters. Additionally, it would be beneficial to provide toiletries in the bathroom; currently, only hand soap is available, and including shower gel and shampoo would enhance the guest experience. Travelers often do not carry these toiletries, making it a thoughtful addition. Marcos and Family.

Our stay at Sonya’s place was quite possibly the best Air BnB property we have ever stayed in. It truly is a stunning property - high ceilings, large bedrooms and the most amazing kitchen which was very well equipped and comfortable lounge area. Walking distance to a range of quality restaurants, buses and trams right outside, shopping precincts close by and very close to the old town. We would highly recommend Sonya’s place to anyone who wants a centrally located, beautifully comfortable base in Edinburgh.

Excellent location and walking into the centre didn’t take long. The tram was close by and buses were regular, if needed. The apartment is very spacious with plenty of room and the on suite had underfloor heating which was nice. There were 4 of us staying there and we all agreed that the beds were extremely comfortable and we all had a good nights sleep. All the bedrooms had plenty of room for storage of clothing. The kitchen was well equipped and there was a long dining room table which was great for playing board games on. There was an issue with the cooker which had a small sticker saying it had failed its electrical test back in September. This was a bit disappointing for us as we had planned to cook and we were not given any information regarding this. I have yet to receive a reply from Sonia about this. Another issue was trying to find the apartment and then the key pad for the key. The keypad is located through a small gate. Apart from that it was lovely stay.
