We enjoyed a lovely week at the Great Barn. It is in a beautiful and peaceful setting and really did get us away from it all! Although off the beaten track, it is close to many lovely places and Branscombe itself is a lovely village and has a great beach which our dogs particularly enjoyed! Adrian was very helpful and brought us more wood and kindling for the log burner very quickly after messaging him. There were lovely provisions provided too when we arrived. We found it tricky to find and our advice would be to type the exact location into g maps about a 1-2 miles away, as the postcode does not take you close enough and it got very confusing! Be prepared for a one track lane too and hope you don’t meet another car lol! The Wi-Fi is very intermittent but we actually enjoyed having a rest from our devices. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing time away.

What a fabulous place! So much so I didnt want to leave. Attention to detail top notch. There was supplies left which was a wonderful touch. Everything you would need to get you started. The house is beautiful and the views stunning. Never got fed up with the Seaview. The only issue we had was no Internet. We did have a storm whilst there so I think this affected it but if you are aware of this before you go you can enjoy the peace. We will definitely be back and Highly recommend.

A superb Airbnb if you are looking for a relaxing getaway. It is quite remote and it was great to get away from the light pollution of the town. We could see so many stars and hear the local tawny owls! The house is bigger than the photos suggest - all the rooms are large. As noted elsewhere Wi-Fi/phone signal are extremely patchy. We downloaded films to take with us which worked well. We had a great time and Adrian was very helpful.

What a fantastic location and property, we lived on the balcony!! Adrian was a down to earth character, very friendly and made us feel welcome on our arrival. The 2 neighbours behind the property that you can’t actually see when you are inside the property, as the whole house faces out to the valley were also very friendly and helpful. Our dogs loved patrolling the property watching the sheep and the cows in the valley beneath. Great sky for star watching, wonderful beach nearby, and with no phone signal or internet for a whole week totally away from society - it was perfect!
