Really enjoyed our stay, the suite was spacious and comfortable

Less than 48 hours before our Thanksgiving stay, we were told they would be unable to honor our reservations due to “unforeseen circumstances.” They offered to relocate us to Semiahmoo Resort, which we accepted rather than having to completely cancel. However, there was only a micro fridge at the new location, so we left all our Thanksgiving groceries at home and spent a fortune eating out the whole trip. Hosts were not quick to respond when we requested a refund for “daily resort fees” we were charged at checkout (after being told there would be no additional charges when offered relocation). This was just a huge headache and we would not have booked if we’d known we might be juggled around like this. Would definitely just book with a single owner in the future, rather than through a company like Extra Holidays.

Front desk Cassie was very helpful and knowledgeable and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. Our place was easy to get to and very large, two tvs , very comfy clean bed, great kitchen with all the cooking supplies. Hot tub and pool were not available so we were able to go next door and use the spotless hot tub there. Parking close to entrance. Sunset across the street with nice walking path. This is one of the best bnbs we’ve used, reasonably priced. Hope we can return some day!

This sunny and spacious weekend away was just what we needed. The balance of walking across the street to the water / cycling around Birch Bay (no issue taking bikes into the rental) using the very beautiful top floor deck and the main level (heated) pool and hot tub had us wishing we could stay longer. The king size bed (we were told every suite has one) was the icing on the cake! Another review of this property mentioned that the kitchen was sparsely supplied. I agree it had less than most air bnbs, It definitely had everything 2 of us needed re: dishes, coffee, tea, that sort of thing. We didn’t need to ask for anything extra.
