Lovely location, very clean and homely the bottle of wine was a nice surprise. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay around the area.

Lovely little cottage, on site parking and walking distance to cafes, pubs and restaurants. Great park for the dog and although on the main road, minimal traffic at night. The spiral staircase and the step up and then down into the bedroom was a bit fiddly but managed. Just tricky at might with the bathroom downstairs. Will echo other reviews about the very firm mattress but it was fine for us. The cottage is really clean, has everything you need and is a great bolthole to explore Northumberland countryside and coast.

Easy communication and check in with lock box, lovely place, mattress very hard and not suitable for myself but that is down to preference. Just have to consider bathroom is on bottom floor and spiral staircase can be an issue for during the night!

Fantastic location and amazing little cottage. Parking is a nice touch, Micro pub on your doorstep if you like that sort of thing. Very clean, warm once we figured out how to override the boiler timer. Only issue we had was the bed, very hard but also too short. 6 foot 4 and banging head on top of bed and bottom of bed, only way to fit was diagonally which wasn’t a good nights sleep for the missus 😂. If bed was changed would 100% stay here again.

Perfect base for getting into Northumberland and day-trips into Newcastle. Comfortable and well-appointed with off-street parking.
