We loved our stay at Paul's! It's the cutest cottage and full of really great antiques. The gazebo, grill and fire pit were also super great. It feels very private and is surrounded by beautiful places and super convenient to get to anywhere you'd need. I highly recommend and can't wait to go back!

Enjoyed a wonderful stay at Paul's cottage. It was easy to find, peaceful, and clean. Paul was very proactive in communication and very responsive to any questions/inquiries. I would definitely stay again if the opportunity arises.

Paul's little cottage was even cuter than we expected! It was cozy, comfortable, and filled with garden-themed decorations. Both mornings, we sat on the little front porch with our tea, and enjoyed the sunrise and birdsong from a dozen species of birds! We loved the fully-supplied (turquoise!) kitchen, as we like to cook. There was everything we needed, and we wished we'd brought waffle-making supplies. Everything was just right! The location is half an hour from Woodstock, and we discovered a great Thai place 10 minutes away in Catskill, called Wasanas. We did take out seafood (pat pong) curry and somtom salad... and ate it "at home" in the cottage. Paul was friendly and responded quickly to our questions. And, the cottage is nicely separated from the main house and neighbors, so we felt like we had a little private oasis for our weekend in the Catskills.

We loved staying at the cottage! It was cozy and quirkily decorated just like the photos. Also not pictured is a large claw foot tub ideal for a long soak! While it’s not completely isolated (Paul’s house is right next door and there’s another house on the other side) it was quiet, tranquil and clean. Paul welcomed us with some freshly baked cookies and quickly responded on the app and also via text. The thing I appreciated the most is that we could check in AND out anytime. This meant we didn’t have to rush the morning we were leaving and wound up staying into the afternoon. Also unlike other hosts, there’s no list of chores you have to do before leaving, Paul told us he’d take care of all of it. My ONE comment is that although the furniture is all very cute, it is very old and not comfortable. The bed was okay (very springy though) but you couldn’t sit on the arm chairs or couch very long. Otherwise, Paul was an ideal host and the cottage was lovely!

Paul’s place was wonderful! I found it easy to rest, plenty of things to watch if it rained, restaurants / food recommendations, cute decor, super comfy bed, and I loved both the front porch and the gazebo! There were lots of extras and I loved the vintage theme and now I’m addicted to hot chocolate k-cups. I saw deer and heard birds in the morning. Around the firepit at night, I could hear wood frogs in the distance. Paul was friendly and a very responsive host! He answered all my questions and was available. I hope to return again sometime! Great location too!
