Caroline was very quick to respond, both her and Mark were very friendly and helpful. The barn was warm, bright and welcoming, it was spotlessly clean. Caroline kindly left cereal, bread, milk, fresh juice, teas, coffees etc. The barn was well stocked with everything we needed for a few relaxing days away. Lovely accommodation in a picturesque area.

Caroline was lovely, so helpful & was there to welcome me at check in. The annexe was cosy and spotlessly clean. The little touches of milk, cereal bread etc were such a nice touch. Thank you so much Caroline, we will definitely recommend you to friends & family!
Caroline’s property is immaculate, and extremely well-thought out. We absolutely loved all the little amenities and special touches that made it feel like a perfect blend between a home-away-from-home and a 5 star hotel! Everything was of high quality. The breakfast was a bonus, so much choice and plenty of it to keep us going for our entire stay. Finally, Caroline was super helpful, welcoming and quick to reply whenever needed. I highly recommend this property to anyone considering it!
Second stay at this lovely place. Without doubt the best Airbnb in the area. Clean and fantastically comfortable place to stay. Amazing breakfast.

Hi, my name is Caroline and I am married to Mark. We purchased a field 15 years ago with a 100 year old derelict barn and, thankfully, got planning permission to do the barn conversion. It took a year to do the the build and we moved in at the end of August 2008 and have been living here very happily since. The annexe building was done originally to provide a garage plus a self-contained space for our boys as and when needed. The main living area doubled up as a workroom for myself as I run a soft furnishings business. Whilst I still run the business, I stopped making the curtains etc myself some years ago and decided to change the space to allow me to do Airbnb. I am so pleased that I made the decision to start out on this venture as I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting all the lovely people that have visited us!
