As a family (2 adults, 2 kids) we had a wonderful stay. A very well equipped and well kept house. Very clean and well organized! We had lazy days at the pool / bar - as well as trips to the nearby regions. Convinient location for excursions. Walking distance to the local, well developed, beach areas, playgrounds and restaurants. Boat and bus connections to Dubrovnik and other costal towns. We had a rental car, in which we made daytrips to Korcula, Ston, Kotor, Budva and to the Vjetrenica cave. Beautiful view from the terrace. Proximity to the Dubrovnik airport was ideal. 10-15min drive, and due to the flight path of incoming aeroplanes, NO audiable nuisance. Fantastic host, considerate, kind and with attention to details. Communication in English worked very well.

Nous avons l’habitude de louer des villas et je dois dire que cette fois nous avons été plus qu’agréablement surpris car tout était impeccable. La propreté de la maison, l’équipement parfait, le confort de la maison, les chambres avec une bonne literie et salle de bains attenante, la vue magnifique , l’emplacement et la relation amicale, gentille, attentionnée avec Mare. Des produits de base, des boissons, confiture maison, orangettes étaient présents à notre arrivée. A 10 mn de Dubrovnik et de Cavtat, nous avons aussi pu faire une virée au Monténégro voir les bouches de Kotor. A noter une route en contre bas de la maison. Mare votre maison est vraiment exceptionnelle !!!!

We stayed at Mare's villa in September this year, the villa is extremely well equipped. Mare was lovely, very welcoming and helpful. She also left us some thoughtful gifts. The villa is well placed for Dubrovnik Old Town with a ferry service from the local port, or 10 mins in an Uber, which is very well priced. The main area with the restaurants in a 10 min walk down hill, or there are steps which take a bit longer. You do however have to cross a main road, which unfortunately you can also hear from the villa. My elderly Mother struggled a bit with the walk however the rest of the family managed it no problem, for us it was not a problem but if you have older family members then something to consider. We did get Ubers for the return journey up the hill from the port, again which were very well priced. Dubrovnik is beautiful and the views from the Villa are amazing we had a fantastic holiday and would 100% recommend Villa Vesna.

We had a lovely relaxing week at Villa Vesna. The villa is one of the most comfortable and best equipped that we've been to, with all of the essentials and much more. It was very clean and Mare was a wonderful host, going above and beyond for us on several different occasions. It was hot when we visited and we particularly appreciated the lovely pool and the air conditioning inside. We didn't hire a car and got by fine with Ubers. We enjoyed taking boat rides to Dubrovnik and Cavtat, and going down to the harbour for dinner in the evenings - though as others have said there are a lot of steps and less mobile people might need to get a taxi or Uber back up to the villa. We would be more than happy to go back for another week in the future.

My family and I visited Dubrovnik for our holiday and stayed at mare s home Mare was such a great host beautiful person very helpful The house was immaculate very homely Highly recommend
