We had a great time at Phillips place with the family. Great location, right near a farm stand and restaurants. The backyard was awesome with a heated pool and plenty of lounging space. We also really enjoyed picking vegetables from the garden. Phillip is a great host and was very responsive and helpful throughout our trip. Would definitely recommend.

The Southold house was a fabulous vacation home for a family reunion. There were 8 of us, from 3 different generations. The house had something for all of us. It was beautifully appointed, welcoming in every aspect. The grounds were lush and we had much fun exploring the vegetable garden and harvesting its produce. The kayaks and the canoes were well used on the creek and the pond. The property was spacious. The gardens were beautifully landscaped. The readers in the family particularly enjoyed the gazebo, where they spent many hours of quiet contemplation. The kitchen was marvellous, and got plenty of use. We were able to eat most meals outside, overlooking the garden and the creek. There was a wonderful library, which grandma took advantage of when she finished all of her other books. The bedrooms were very comfortable, many of which had wonderful views of the sunsets and sunrises. The location was very good for a wide of range of activities: cycling, swimming, visiting the Lavender Farm in East Marion, a winery just minutes drive away, Orient Point (from where we took the ferry to New London for lunch), Shelter Island (where we hiked), as well as the Hamptons. We had never been to the North Fork previously, and were pleasantly surprised at all it had to offer. We enjoyed the ambience and shops at Greenpoint, and had a delicious meal at the Taste of Venice. We have rented many vacation homes over the years, and this was one of the best experiences that we have ever had. Thank you, Philip. We are already discussing next year's trip.

Philip’s house is wonderful. We stayed with my 4yo son, parents and sister, and the rooms are all comfortable and lovely. The location is spectacular- waterfront property with creek access, and an easy drive to all of the surrounding towns, markets, vineyards and Beaches. My son spent hours playing in the playroom and running in the sprinkler on the lawn. Waking up to the view of the creek in the backyard was so peaceful, I’d like to do it again soon!

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Philip’s house. There is so much to enjoy there - the landscaped yard with sprinkler for the kids, the water with the kayak, sitting on the swing by the pond, meals/ BBQ or relaxing on the porch, harvesting the veggies, feeding the fish. We were there for 9 days with our 3 kids and even though we came mainly to go to the beach and to bike, we just stayed in the house on some days. Everything is spacious, clean, airy, bright, well organized; Philip explained everything and was super quick to respond to any questions. We had a wonderful vacation, I highly recommend Philip’s house!

Philip's place was amazing. The house itself is in great shape and had everything we needed. We were a group of 6 + baby and the place we perfect for us. The house was in a peaceful location but a short distance from the amenities in Southold. There are beaches, several wineries and the town of Greenport nearby. Several of us are cyclists and really enjoyed touring the area. For those of who had to work during our stay, the Wi-Fi network worked well. We are already discussing when to return!
