Wonderful little campground and nice clean lodge on the pristine Black River! It was a great place to watch the eclipse in a natural setting. Unfortunately management staff neglected their duties before and during our float trip and our 30-person group all got lost as a result of a missing sign on the river. Chris the owner was more interested in her unaccounted-for kayak than in helping locate our missing people. We had 8 people including two girls under age 6 stranded and out of contact for 3+ hours. We missed out on many of the events and experiments we had planned and dealt with a great deal of anguish as we waited hours to recover our people and reunite mothers with their children. We owe gratitude to friendly locals who helped us avoid further calamity as well as Tim the bus driver for Twin Rivers. During our moment of crisis, instead of taking responsibility for their negligence, we were met with indifference at best. Floater beware.

This house was perfect for our family! There are plenty of beds, plenty of space for everyone to play games and eat. We spent a lot of time down at the creek in the back. The week we spent here was a HEAT WAVE - temps over 95 for the most part, the AC units kept up WONDERFULLY and kept the house ice cold for us. We liked the beach front located on the camp grounds a lot and didn’t find it ever to be crowded. We would stay here again! Family of 11 - 3 kids under 8 and 8 adults.

Fantastic place for family get together. Fairly rustic but had all conveniences needed. Very clean and comfortable.

This was a great place to stay-incredible location! The only downsides are having to bring your own bedding (clearly stated but I overlooked that) and the amount of spiders and bugs. These little green bugs would invade the house every night-harmless but annoying. If you leave a light on by the back door they will congregate there. Overall it was beautiful, private, and great to have air conditioning! If you book through the Twin River’s Landing website you will save a few bucks!

Magnificent all together! Pack your bags and head to the best getaway ever!
