Second time staying with Asif at Skitpo and it's just the perfect home away from home in Leh. Great location, large airy and super clean rooms. Wonderful to stay with such friendly hosts again!

Amazing place to stay in Leh. Really close to the main market and all restaurants but quiet at night. Large and bright room everything you need. Bathroom was clean and loads of hot water. Thanks to Asif for hosting, absolutely loved my stay here!

Location on Airbnb is not accurate, we spent quite a while to locate. Faced issues with water everyday, had to go in search of house keeper - very inconvenient. I don’t even want to get started in hot water. Internet is very slow rendering it useless. There are power cuts too and the host is very slow in responding. If you’re looking for a long term stay, look elsewhere - there are a zillion places to stay near the Leh main market.

Skitpo became our base to explore Leh and area. It is 2 minutes walk from centre of town where al services, many restaurants, and shops are located. Room was spacious and airy, good wifi connection, clean bathroom. Views of palace, monasteries, and mountains from rooftop. Best of all was Asif who was so welcoming, helpful, attentive to any of our questions. He set us up with a driver who we ended up hiring for all our excursions. No hesitation in recommending this guesthouse; it really became an important part of our stay especially when I was down with a bit of altitude sickness.
