We stayed at Kennels Lodge for a retreat. We couldn't have picked a better airbnb! It was spacious for 12 guests, very well stocked for cooking and overall perfect for hosting. The interior design was beautiful and the bedrooms very comfortable. There were large, green outdoor spaces and a lovely dinning room we spent lots of time in. It is a quick walk to the Gordon Castle walled garden, but otherwise pretty remote, which we did not mind as it was very peaceful. There was also a very friendly horse we befriended:) Highly recommend!

Our much looked forward to family holiday was sadly not what we had hoped it to be. Right from booking we felt we would have to wait weeks for a reply even to acknowledge us and our booking. We are still waiting for a response to the message we sent below. Hi Kyra, I am afraid that we are at a bit of a loose end. Unfortunately, what was meant to be our relaxing family holiday has resulted in living on a worksite. Monday was spent with no hot water or heating; Tuesday was spent with an engineer working for a large portion of the day in the private space that we have paid a significant amount of money for; on Wednesday the engineer had to come back to fix a subsequent problem; and today after moving past this, we came home to find another worker in our privately rented area, painting the outdoor toilet. He didn't even acknowledge us, or let us know as to why he was there. He is still here now, and our dogs are increasingly unsettled. This was a holiday that my family and I have saved for and awaited a long time, and unfortunately the week has been largely spent with workers inside the house, and workers using heavy machinery next door. I believe that if we had been informed of this before booking, then I do not think we would have chosen what we were lead to believe was a lovely, peaceful accommodation. I truly hope you can understand why not just myself, but my partner and children are very disheartened by the way our holiday has been experienced. At present, we are seeking some degree of compensation as we do not feel that this accommodation was anything near worth what we paid for it. I would thoroughly appreciate it if you passed this message onto a manager please. Kindest Regards, Melanie

This house was very clean, spacious and comfortable. It has been fitted out very thoughtfully, including in the kitchen. The beds were very comfortable too. The location is great, quiet and ideal for walking but not far from Fochabers. We would certainly go again.

Lovely cottage, very well appointed. Quality bedding, comfortable beds. Everything you need in the kitchen. Very comfortable! Very close to Fochabers, which is a lovely village, walks in the estate and just across the road. Cycling next door too! Lots of things to visit nearby. Beautiful place!
