My friends and I were craving a relaxed weekend away to catch up on celebrating birthdays, weddings and babies and spend quality time with each other! We found the perfect place! The bedrooms have shutters that make the rooms pitch black, it is so peaceful and the beds are extra comfy! The kitchen was wonderful for cooking for all of us, we enjoyed lots of time around the table and in the living room playing games in front of the fire. The garden is beautiful and you can go for a nice walk from the bottom of the garden! The Black Swan pub a stones throw away from the house is a wonderful place to eat. The place is even nicer than the pictures, Clare a wonderful host and I would highly recommend a visit! We even had a some toddler guests with a family friend nearby and there was a great baby gate and little games in the house to play with them! Book now :)

The house is a perfect place to spend a relaxing break with friends or family. We particularly liked the open plan kitchen/living space and the fire - which were exactly what we needed when it was too wet to go outside! The beds were also very comfy. When the rain stopped and the clouds lifted, we were able to enjoy the beautiful garden and walk to the 2 lovely pubs in the peaceful village. Highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful accommodation. It's the little touches that really stand out - having a bird box attached to the back doors along with bird feed included - it was a perfect place to reflect in the mornings, to the many mini torches dotted across the rooms to aid you getting to and fro to the bathroom in the night in the pitch black. Everything was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Clare was a fab host - friendly, informative and easy check in. We will definitely not hesitate to book again in the future, and hope to stay in this wonderful home for longer next time.
