Amazing cabin in the middle of nowhere, feels extremely private with amazing views. Lovely touches of kindness with a cake to die for. A couple of lovely pubs close by and some amazing walks. Will definitely be returning. Phil & Nic x

Lovely stay and very thoughtful prep including essentials - eggs, butter, bread and milk! Even a cake! Thank you for hosting us. We have throughly enjoyed the stay.

Excellent accommodation, beautiful views! The cabin had everything you could need and more, the host even went the extra mile to provide coffee, milk, butter, eggs, freshly made bread and most importantly cake! Upon our arrival. We felt so settled & my two boys loved the themed bedroom with the coach toys to play with. The town is just a short drive away, with a delicious Chinese restaurant which we pre ordered and collected! We also visited the castle and ice cream parlour just a short drive away. Would definitely stay here again.

Thank you so much to our fantastic hosts. We loved our stay at Lapwing Lodge, it was the perfect place for us all to catch up in beautiful surroundings. We loved everything about the lodge, particularly the hot tub. The added special touches of the birthday banner and home made cake were lovely. Neil and Jennie responded quickly to any questions I had and were always happy to help. I would highly recommend this cosy and beautifully decorated lodge.
