A beautiful cottage in an incredible location in the Mallerstang valley right in the heart of hill farming country. A perfect opportunity to appreciate the very hard work and dedication required to run a successful hill farm. We were very lucky to be here during lambing season and get to see and learn so much on the farm, surrounded by animals everywhere we looked. A very comfortable stay with everything we needed and perfect hosts who were so friendly, it was a privilege to see the dedication they showed to their animals. Highly recommend.

A fantastic cottage on a working farm. Extremely cosy with the Rayburn ticking away and well equipped with everything we needed for a long weekend break. The scenery in the local area is absolutely stunning. We would be very happy to stay there again.

Beautiful location, fantastic helpful host lovely well catered for cottage with everything you need for a wonderful and relaxing stay on a working farm and not forgetting the delightful extras left by host. Walking in the area is brilliant right on your door step but if you wish to travel the lakes aren't far away. Will be back very soon!
