A fun and secluded home with a lovely stove fireplace and quick access to local parks, lakes and towns. Ohhhh and one morning we took the rowboat out and landed 15 pickerel, the next morning not so great, but that’s fishing! Looking forward to coming back.

This was my second stay, for 2 full weeks. It was a fantastic experience all around. The house is just as described. The living room is exceptional, made all from rustic unfinished wood, with an amazing stone area on 2 walls, and sliding glass doors to the deck so your view of the lake is the same whether you are in or outside. The location is so beautiful, totally private on a wetland/lake with so much wildlife: many birds, turtles, and even Great Blue Herons that nest on the lake and fly over at dusk. Yet, it is in a very convenient location, close to Hudson, Hillsdale and Copake, with great food and shopping within 10-15 minutes. But the best thing is the host, Joe, who was so friendly and helpful, we communicated often about my experience, he reached out to me often, just to see how I was doing! I can't wait to go back!

A sweet stay at Tammy and Joe’s. Loved the location, the serenity, and down the block from my favorite diner. The beds were comfortable and nice bedding made a difference. Hope to stay there again!

We stayed for a couple of nights to enjoy the scenery, the hosts were really communicative and kind, the cabin was fine but didn’t match our expectations based on the pictures of the lake and the stellar reviews.
