Cot Cottage was a fabulous house for us to celebrate a 40th Birthday with friends. It is very remote, but that was its beauty to us, house it extremely well appointed with plenty of space for our large group to enjoy a relaxing break. Kitchen is well appointed with everything you can think of to let you cook for a large number. The icing on the cake for our group was the super large hottub which proved a hit. All in all 5* 👍

Donald’s place is great - a perfect escape to relax in absolutely beautiful surroundings - red kite watching was one of our favourite activities from the balcony and garden. There’s also lots to do in surrounding area - would recommend the Galloway activities centre on Loch Ken. Donald as a host was great, really responsive and gave very clear instructions/guidance on everything. Would highly recommend.

myself and my friends had a wonderful time away at cot cottage. There was 9 of us and 2 dogs and we had so much space. The rooms were all very spacious and clean. There were so many different areas to relax in together or apart. Donald responded to all messages I sent with helpful replies. We all had the best week and will most definitely visit again. Only thing to complain about would be the gravel road to the property. My car especially found it very difficult to get up it. Apart from that no one had any complaints !!
