We had a wonderful 3 day stay. Would recommend to anyone looking for a secluded getaway nestled directly on the lake.

Wow!!! If you are looking for authentic waterfront experience at Lake Tahoe, this is the place! Beautiful property, homey accommodations, lots of history, and amazing lake front location… We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Thank you for sharing this place with us!

The house and view was beautiful, the location was great, but the employee we dealt with from Lake Tahoe accommodations was less than enthusiastic to help us during check in. The lights were off in the office when we arrived, she wasn’t answering the phones, and where to drop the keys for checkout was extremely unclear. She also said she wasn’t sure if the electric bear mats were off but that they wouldn’t kill us. Also, only one burner in the kitchen worked after being told only two worked and not to comment on it. In addition, one of the sinks in a bathroom in the main house didn’t work and there was just a note in the sink not to use. They only gave us one key that you needed to unlock all the doors to the main house and guest house which made it slightly inconvenient. The house also was low on toilet paper, towels, and trash bags, which was confusing for a house that large. Again, the house and views were stunning, but the service from the rental company was disappointing.
