The Lakehouse is the perfect description of their home. Spectacular sky at night, the water, the ambience and all the amenities you need to cook a delicious dinner. One of my favourite all time home away from home, except my home doesn’t have a lake in the front yard. Prime TV and movie night was the perfect way to spend the night once the sun went down.

What a charming place! Shannon and Kelly took care about all details. The lovely scent in the house, comfy beds, full equipped kitchen, air conditioning, heating, lots of games for all ages, bbq, fireplace with the view to the lake.. Great peaceful location, walking distance to local beach, and quick car drive to other beaches, provincial parks or wineries. The only “issue” that we were not aware while booking, that there was no ceiling from the rooms to the living room and to the roof. After kids went to sleep we couldn't do any noise, turn on the light, no movie watching at the house.. it was challenging for us enjoying couple time and although they slept in different rooms, they were still waking up each other. Hope Shannon and Kelly can close the upper rooms' surface as it would increase a lot privacy for families or friends coming together. But despite of that, we loved the place, and would like to come back!

We had an enjoyable 10 days at the Kennedy Lakehouse. Port Ryerse is a delightful place for those who appreciate a calm and peaceful place steps away from lake waters. The small but charming beach is about 5 minutes walk, and can be seen on G**gle Maps streetview. The lake is shallow for quite a way. There's seaweed along the shore, but so what? The cottage is well stocked in the bathroom and smallish kitchen. The TV has an Amazon Fire Stick. The bedrooms may be the smallest ever but they worked. No closets but there are large drawers under the beds and hooks on the walls. The view of the lake is no longer as expansive as in the pictures since the trees have gown and thickened. The property ends at the Muskoka chairs on one side and the deck under the dining gazebo on the other. It does not include the expanse towards the cliff and the bench in the distance. There were a handful of wasps at outside meals which might be a bother for some people. Pt Dover is only a 10 min. drive away.

Incredibly cute, beautifully located cottage. We felt right at home. It's just a cozy picturesque atmosphere. Close to great places to see. Everything was as described by host!

Our stay at Kennedy Lakehouse was everything we hoped for in a mini vacation. We were cool, comfortable, relaxed, and felt welcome. Thank you for everything!
