A cosy 1 bedroom cottage set in a beautiful rural location on a working farm. Stunning views everywhere you look with beautiful wildlife and wild flowers all around. Dog friendly with wonderful walks straight from the doorstep. The perfect base to explore the nearby cycle routes. Within easy access of the picturesque market towns of Helmsley and Thirsk. Heated by a biomass boiler so a perfect cosy retreat after a day out. Check in/out days are Mondays and Fridays so please select those days. Cosy cottage with 1 bedroom which can be made up as either a twin or a king. Bedroom is en suite with shower over bath. Living area with TV/DVD. Fully equipped kitchen area with integrated appliances. Outside space is a lovely shared courtyard with seating and stunning views.

The cottage was warm and cosy, while still feeling spacious. We appreciated the large bed! The cottage is located in beautiful countryside and is just on the outskirts of a very peaceful, quiet village. Everything was clearly explained to us via messages before the arrival date, and via a handy welcome guide in the cottage. Hassle-free check in and out.
Formicary, one of Valley View Cottages was just the peaceful stay we needed over Christmas 2023. As grandparents visiting family we needed a quiet place to recharge! So warm & cosy even with a lit & decorated Christmas tree - Lovely touch! Very comfy bed with TV in bedroom & lounge. Special thanks to Peter for dropping farm duties to assist with Internet connectivity issues!
lovely courtyard of stone buildings in a working farm, but tidy and clean environment. Comfortable, spacious and clean. Many nearby walking paths and bridleways, I did 30 miles in 3 days! Recommended

An ideal base to explore Yorkshire.
