Friendly hosts, peaceful place, beautiful surroundings. I can't say enough good about Mountain Shepherd. There are lots of spaces to chill outside - Adirondack chairs, a swing, outdoor tables and chairs - as well as a great indoor gathering space. There are also trails to hike right on the property. I will definitely be back.

We drove up late at night as it was a 4 hour drive right after work on a Friday, so we ended up disrupting the hosts' sleep when the doggies got excited with us knocking on the door :) Rob greeted us warmly, accompanied us to our sleeping quarters, and even let us put our leftovers from a food stop in their fridge so that I can have it for lunch the next day. (We were sleeping overnight to meet up with a bigger group the next morning for backpacking.) The sleeping quarters was clean, toasty, and beds were comfortable. Everyone slept well. The breakfast Dina prepared was just what we needed before heading out to the trail. She was so friendly and kept us company while we ate. Over all, it was a smooth sail. And if I ever come through there again, I'd stay there for sure. Thanks for your hospitality Dina, Rob, and all the furry children!

Dina's place is a great, off the grid location with modern amenities. My dog and I enjoyed hiking on property and had the place to ourselves! Dina cooked me breakfast in the morning and we had a nice chat!

This was an absolutely beautiful location! The housing was great and perfect for our large group retreat! It was located right on the edge of mountains with a little creek/lake right on the property! It was a quiet space perfect for us to enjoy as a team! The beds were so comfy and there was more than enough room for all of us!
