Our freshly renovated self-contained guest studio is the ideal getaway for couples or singles to explore the rainforest of Daintree National park, Mossman gorge, Cape Tribulation, The Great Barrier Reef and Port Douglas. Situated on 1.5 acres, it is a beautiful home set within a rainforest paradise. Upon arriving, you will be received by the breathtaking 180-degree panoramic view right outside your front door from the rainforest, mountain ranges and cane fields to the Coral Sea and Low Isles. The space is the entire downstairs, self-contained sudio of an Eco-friendly timber pole home – modern, spacious, quiet, private with a separate entrance, lockable & for your use only. With an open plan living area, the studio has high ceilings and consists in a Queen bed, an Ensuite, a lounge and kitchenette areas all overlooking the beautiful scenery and enjoying the sea breeze. The studio features a fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, blender, toaster and dining table. The guests have also access to a sink to clean their dishes just next door to the studio. The studio has fan, air-conditioning, a smart tv with Netflix (please note we have no aerial channels) and is fully insect screens for your comfort. The studio patio has a double seat lounge, an outdoor table for two and an hanging egg chair. Guests have use of the swimming pool and sundeck, which are both positioned at the second level of the house to take most of the vast and stunning views. Linen, towels & pool towels are provided. Our guests have access to our free unlimited WiFi. For our bird lovers, you will wake up with the lovely sounds of our Rainforest birds, just on time to enjoy our beautiful sunrises over the Coral sea. At night time on a clear sky, you can enjoy our beautiful stars as we have no light disturbance around. We (the hosts) occupy the upstairs area with our lovely two fur babies (Huskies). We are proposing Breakfast and Dinner options to our guests as an extra. If you are interested, just ask us for the menu options and prices and let us know a couple of days prior your check-in if you want any of our breakfasts or dinners. Keep an eye out for some of our rainforest friends. There are many different species of butterflies (including the beautiful Ulysses Butterfly) and a wide array of birdlife (Sunbirds, Finches, Kookaburras, Cockatoos, wild ducks, Lorikeets, Kingfishers, Fairywrens, and many more), we also have goannas, Echidnas, Rainforest strip possums and bandicoots. If you are lucky, you can even spot (mainly at night) our favorite guest living close by a very cute wallaby but very shy. Please note, we cannot host any infant or children due to our property being on a steep land and not being childproof.
