We had a great time at John & Tanya’s place. We swam and kayaked every day. The water was great - clear and warm (for lake water). We saw bald eagles, lots of loons, and a couple of other creatures - maybe otters? And some little hopping deer. The place was great. Well equipped and clean. We enjoyed the bird decor throughout and the general personality of the place. The best part is the access to the water. Truly as close as it seems in the pictures. And George the cat was super cute and very friendly. John was friendly and helpful as a host. It was a great location for a family vacation.

We had a great time. The location is amazing. The house is a bit dated and cluttered but everything works like it needs to. The house is on two floors with a kitchen lounge together. Two bedrooms are on the top floor. There is one shared bathroom (another toilet in the garden). The two other beds are in a large open room in the basement there is also a games/den room as part of it. The view from the top floor is really beautiful and we enjoyed waking up to it. The owner John was staying in a caravan on the driveway. He is helpful and friendly.

Well stocked kitchen and bathroom on a gorgeous lake where we enjoyed the mornings kayaking, afternoons on the deck and evenings inside on the reclining seats. John was very communicative and brought us water and bug spray as needed. Even kindly picked up a forgotten item at the store for us saving us an hour of driving. Thanks for a great trip, John!

John and Tanya's place was exactly as pictured, yet upon arrival it exceeded our expectations. The property was beautiful, with easy access to the water and amazing views from the deck. I cannot say enough about John. He was such a gracious host, making sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay, even making a special trip back to the cabin from town so we didn't have to take any time out of our vacation. Very easy check-in, great communication, and the place was equipped with everything we needed. Many fond memories were made this weekend. Thank you John!
