Host was friendly and even left little touches to make our stay extra special, everything was spotless and facilities were as described. We stayed here to visit Alton Towers and was less than 15 minutes from leaving the location to getting inside the Car Park! We will definitely be back.

we booked this as it was close to Alton Towers. it was literally 10 mins away by car and such a lovely experience for our first air bnb... thank you so much

Had a fab two night break at the shepherds hut. Lots to do locally with Dovedale and Ilam nearby - just get there early to avoid the crowds! It's in a really peaceful location with walks criss-crossing the farmland that the huts are on so you can go exploring if you want. Install the OS Maps app on your phone. Our two kids (12yo & 7yo) enjoyed the break and exploring the area and farm land. Jess was really welcoming and made sure we had everything we required. We would definitely stay there again.
