Izzy is a fabulous host and a great communicator. This lovely comfortable and immaculately clean Airbnb is a real find. Such an easy drive to Ashbourne and also only a few minutes away from Callow Hall (which serves excellent food in a very beautiful setting). My friends and I had a wonderful walk directly from the cottage to the beautiful village of Tissington but did not want to stray further in the evenings as the cottage is so cosy. Our only wish was that we could have visited in the summer to take advantage of the swimming pool. However, we loved our stay and will recommend Swallows Cottage to one and all.
Beautiful home set in even more beautiful surroundings. Izzy was a wonderful host who provided excellent recommendations. The house is well set up with everything you could need. Lovely place, would be nice to stay in the summer to be able to make the most of the garden!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Peaceful and beautiful location. Comfy beds, lots of space, clean and beautiful cottage. Will be looking to coming back!

Simon and I moved back to Derbyshire from London 27 years ago - we absolutely love living here and relish being so close to Ashbourne. With three children (now all in their twenties) it has been a fabulous place to bring up children. We love travelling but always look forward to coming back to The Peak District - whatever time of year. Our perfect evening would be having great friends round to supper in the kitchen - with relaxed, easy food so that we can enjoy their company! Although our children (young adults!) are grown up it's always lovely to have families to stay.
