This is a beautifully refurbished apartment attached to a lovely Georgian house in pretty countryside. Peaceful, tastefully furnished & spacious. Three of us spent 4 nights here & enjoyed the luxury & location, ideally situated a short drive from Ashbourne. Local village pub is walkable. Hosts very attentive & friendly

We had a lovely stay - the garden wing was beautiful, and amazing walks locally. Steve and Amanda were really helpful - including letting us stay an extra hour as the clocks went forward on the morning of check out! Thank you!

The accommodation is beautiful, both decoration and furnishings, the setting is also beautiful. But warmth was lacking in more than one way. It is true that (as the hosts say) eventually hot water comes out of the taps, but not all of them, and they must be run for a VERY long time. We understood that we would have to run the taps for a while, but for the kitchen sink that was more than 10 mins to even reach warm. In excess of 5 minutes was needed for e.g. the bath. The shower in the bathroom never ever got warm - we believe the temperature control is stripped due to previous guests wrestling with it in the struggle to get hot water. The hosts were adamant there is nothing wrong with that shower, which was unhelpful. In addition one of the bedrooms was cold and damp the first night, though aired and warm by the next night. Finally - the signage is scolding and unwelcoming. Very happy to take shoes off - no problem, but a "don't" sign in every room? Not welcoming at all.

We had a lovely weekend at this beautiful accommodation, exactly like the photos, extremely clean and well presented. Very peaceful surroundings and a pub close by that’s walkable. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

We had a wonderful stay in the Garden Wing it was just what we hoped it would be. The location was perfect for us to walk the Tissington Trail. The local pub was lovely. Highly recommend for a stay in the lovely area of the Peaks. We hope to return again.
