We had a wonderful few days at James's place. The property is fantastic and the location is so peaceful. Our kids loved the table football, the hot tub and the hay barn with the swing. The surroundings are stunning - so peaceful. Great communication from James before arrival and he was on hand should we have needed anything. Great stay - many thanks.

The Cow Shed was an incredible place to spend our weekend, it had everything we could have needed for cooking and entertaining ourselves, and James and Chloe were so helpful in making our weekend go as easily as possible (even unpacking our food delivery when we were stuck in traffic!). We’d love to come back soon!

The Cow Shed is absolutely wonderful, and as importantly, James is an excellent host. It is a rare find to have such lovely accommodation hosted in a beautiful part of the world with hosts who like and understand children. James's recommendations really added colour to our stay and we hope to come back with our extended family and book both places to stay... next time we will take James's advice and bring the children's wellies for the beck!!

Amazing weekend celebrating my Dad’s Birthday, perfect property had everything we needed and more, nice to have things to do around the barn, the kids loved the rope swing and stream all on site, no need to leave the barn, nice walk to the local pub We will definitely be booking again
