Mussel Cottage was easy to find, very clean, warm and as listed on Airbnb. Lovely enclosed, well-maintained garden, which our dog enjoyed. Although the high-chair we requested was not in the property when we arrived, after a message to host Matt, it was promptly delivered that evening, which was greatly appreciated. Although Elmer is a very quiet and residential area, we enjoyed days out at Selsey Bill, Bosham, Chichester and Arundel.

The house was just as described by Matt, it was lovely and clean and very peaceful. Great place to stay with dogs as the garden is well enclose and the beach is just a short distance away and very dog friendly. I was down on business and let me tell this house is far better than staying in any hotel. Matt was a great host, responds very quickly and the communications between us were excellent.

mussell cottage was brilliant, great location close to all areas we wanted. cottage was lovely, cosy, quaint and had everything we needed. garden was beautiful late afternoon sun trap when out. pebbled beach was a 5 min walk but tons of shells to find. house is located through drive of house at front which threw us at first but once knew where we were was easy. recommend completely had a great time

Matt’s place was very warm and comfortable with everything we needed to feel right at home. The drink and chocolates was a thoughtful and much appreciated gesture for NYE! It felt spacious with its open plan living and dining area but had a cosy atmosphere, especially with storm Henk blowing a gale outside. It was perfectly located for our needs, visiting family who live locally. It’s literally a couple of minutes walk from the beach which was ideal for walking our dog who experienced the seaside for the first time. A great time was had by all the family visiting Arundel and walking in the local countryside. We’d definitely choose to stay again.

We had a great stay, great location and very peaceful. The cottage is lovely, very practical and with a lovely log burner. Matt was very responsive throughout booking check-in and during our stay. Hope we can visit again!
