Lovely apartment in the historical center of Mataró at 100 m from the beach and 5 min to the train station. Barcelona center is at 30 km and it's well connected by bus or train. Private entrance, high ceilings and modernist style. The balcony on the street has direct view to the sea. On the other side enjoy the sun and quiet evenings in the terrace. The apartment is equipped with all necessary appliances, it has comfy beddings and is ideal for families. Second floor with no elevator. Large kitchen near the terrace, living room with couch and dining table, 2 double rooms, one room with mezzanine bed and double sofa bed, one small room with single sofa bed. One bathroom with toilets, sink and shower in bathtub.

L'appartement est très grand, très bien placé, proche de la plage, de la gare et du centre de Mataro. Il est bien équipé et la terrasse est extra. A noter, il est au premier étage et l'escalier est très raide. Delphine et Ernest sont réactifs et donnent de bons conseils (activités, bon plans, restaurants...). Accueil extra !

The apartment is located in the historical centre of Mataró, close to shops, restaurants, pharmacy, supermarket and local market.
A 100 m from the beach and children playground, 5 mn from the train station or bus stops to Barcelona center.
From Barcelona airport:
TAXI: around 80 euros, 40mn
TRAIN: free shuttle from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 where the train station is. Take R2 until Sants Estació then change for R1 until Mataró. Then walk 6 mn until the apartment.
OR, aerobus until plaça Catalunya then bus E11 or train R1 until Mataró
NIGHT BUS : from the airport N17/N18 until plaça Catalunya, then N80/N82 until Mataró train station, theb walk 6 mn to the apartment.
CAR : you can park for free along the beach about 3 mn walk from the apartment.
There's a city parking on the left after the traffic light. Free on Sundays and bank holidays, free from 20h til 9h and from 14h til 17h from Monday to Saturday .

I am a French citizen residing in Catalunya since 2005, I work as an illustrator and drawing is my passion. I used to travel the world and now settled down in Mataró for the proximity of Barcelona. With my husband and kids we love to share time with travellers, cook and spend time on the beach. Our house is just below the apartment where you will be staying so if you need anything we are usually available.
