Would definitely recommend this place, so much to love about this airbnb. Pros - Location, surrounded by picturesque mountains and locals. - Loved the decor and style felt very authentic - Rua recommended a driver Mr.Vinh who was incredible, we spoke predominantly by whatsap and if he couldn't give us a lift he would organise a friend to help us. Was always reasonably priced, English was excellent and such a nice guy. - Butlers were very nice, trouble with English barrier but had used a translator. - Breakfast was yum, choice of instant noodles or bread with egg and some toppings. - Rua was a good communicator and always replied to my questions. Cons - A little far from town but easy with drop off and pick up from recommended driver. - The dogs did bark a lot at night, they were sweet dogs.  - One dog did chew on my friends shoe so just leave them inside.

The place is a bit far from the city center so it should be difficult for the transportation in-out to the place. If you have your own transportation it shouldnt be an issue. The whole place is very cozy, the blanket is very warm. Please be aware that you will need to share the place with others.

This Airbnb is located approximately 4 km from the city. Note that it is windy roads and may be difficult to get there at night if you are driving yourself. Additionally, if you are traveling with senior adults, it will be difficult for them to walk up a very steep hill to get to the home stay. It is more of a home stay and depending on the room, there may be other guests living there in addition to the housekeepers. The housekeepers were very helpful and responsive and helped us as much as they could have. They can also cook dinner for you at an additional price. The Airbnb was clean and the mattresses are heated during the colder months so you won’t need heating. They do provide you wood for the first night, but if you need extra, you will be charged extra. Overall, it was a unique stay and I would recommend!

A note to all future guests who are interested in booking this stay. There's some ambiguity and misrepresentation in the listing. "Entire Wooden Home" is definitely a misleading title. You will only have the 2nd level of 4 bedrooms and 2 ensuite bathrooms to your group. The other 2 bathrooms are at 1st level which are supposed to be shared with the other guests who are staying at the nearby properties under the same mgmt. Another shared space is the living area on the 1st level which is not stated in the description in the listing. "Housekeepers will stay at the first level at the backside of the kitchen" but did not state the 1st level is also a common area for other guests from the other properties under same mgmt. Because of this missing information on listing, we booked the stay thinking that we would have some privacy and exclusivity to the property for a good, enjoyable retreat for our group of 9 people. But we had a shock and only knew that we are supposed to share the area with others only on the second night of dinner where we booked and requested the housekeepers to prepare BBQ dinner for us. Then we saw different groups of people coming in to the same living area we were at and seated themselves comfortably at different areas, wanting to party already. If we wanted to get a good rest that evening, we definitely could not have one as the noise level was high and we would be affected. We could not have our BBQ dinner outdoor as it was taken. We are totally not briefed about this (neither by the housekeeper nor is there any pre check-in guide) to know that we are needed to share the space with other people whom we do not know. This also poses another problem which is the security concern whereby we did not know that the living area is shared, we left all some of our belonging on the first level's couches during the first night when we reached. Then on the second day, we left our bedroom doors unlocked as well as we thought we and the housekeepers were the only ones accessing to the house. Honestly for the price we paid as a group of 9, we thought that we would be the only ones utilising the space. For the same price per night, you definitely can book better and cleaner homestays. Besides, the cleanliness of the house is quite bad. We found cockroaches on the beds and inside the bedrooms. Kitchen seems to be quite ill-maintained. The only saving grace from the stay was the stunning beautiful view (photos on listing still look slightly diff rent from real life) and helpful housekeepers who are always ready to meet our needs. Management should be more specific in their listing description and be more helpful in coming up with checking in guide if their housekeepers are not going to be the one briefing the guests. In summary: Pro - Stunning view - Nice and helpful housekeepers Cons - Dirty - Inaccessible - Lack of communication from mgmt - Pricey - Misleading - Not an entire house rental - Security concerns - Thin walls
