This is such a nice quiet place to relax. It is away from the hustle and bustle and so peaceful.You can get to town in 20 minutes or so, so it is very convenient. The place is super clean. Everyone you deal with about the stay is super kind and helpful. We loved the wildlife there and the locals. It felt like home to us. It was a wonderful anniversary trip! It’s our new get away for sure. Everything in the home and outside has been so well thought out as well. Thank you for this place!

We had a wonderful time while staying in Harker's Island. The views from the back deck are incredible. We saw dolphins each morning and the sunsets were amazing. We took the Harker's Island Express Ferry to Shackleford Banks and spent several hours exploring the island. We were fortunate enough to see some of the horses up close. Wear sneakers and bring bug spray if you go. We then took the ferry to Cape Lookout, rented a UTV and explored the island and enjoyed the beach. We went to a couple of other nearby towns to explore, such as Beaufort, Morehead City, and Atlantic Beach. An all around great vacation in a comfortable home. We hope to be back again soon.

My family and I have not had any kind of retreat that did not have to do with a child's activities: which have been fun but always a lot of work. Never restful. This trip and this home were exactly what we needed. The surroundings were peaceful and beautiful, the bird and wildlife always beautiful and entertaining. We could go out and see the sights, or we could just relax: fish and read, build a puzzle, enjoy board games and cook together. This was an amazing place and experience for our family to reconnect and we cannot wait until we can return. Thank you!!!
