In a word (fantastic) Mary was a great host and the accommodation was spotless and all the little extras made this a very pleasant stay. Used for work and will definitely use again. Well done Mary & Charlie.

We really enjoyed our short stay here whilst visiting family locally. All was peaceful, clean and comfortable; a lovely little retreat. Although it is on a main road we could not hear any passing traffic as the Garden Lodge is tucked away behind the main house - overlooking the garden of course. Knowing the Fens, it can be rather damp and cold at this time of year but Mary's place was cosy and well-heated without us having to use the wood burner. The owners are on-hand for any needs but not at all intrusive. Having realised we were going to arrive late the Christmas decorations were lit up at the front so we could find the house easily in the dark. We would certainly stay again.

went for a few days was a lovley place to visit, very peaceful location and friendly host. we loved the fresh breakfast stuff left in the fridge and snacks very helpful after a long journey to visit. the 2 dogs were very friendly and every time I saw them were happy to be petted. thankyou for being a lovely host hope to meet you again 😊

We can't recommend a stay at Mary's Garden Lodge highly enough. Everything was just perfect, Mary has thought of everything for a very comfortable stay. The kitchen has all the facilities to cook, and the place was very relaxing and warm (in the middle of winter!). Mary was an excellent host, responding quickly and nothing was too much trouble. If you are looking to explore the North Norfolk coast and surrounding area, look no further!
