We had a lovely stay! Beautiful views and a very cute hut with everything you could need! The only thing that could have made it better would be a blanket to be able to sit out in front of the fire pit with. Also be aware that how peaceful it is will depend on who is staying next to you as there are multiple places to stay in on the property. Sadly our neighbours for the night were quite noisy and did not respect the 10pm onwards quiet time that was instructed in the welcome manual. This of course is no fault of Christine’s at all but sadly did slightly dampen our relaxing night away.

Lovely romantic peaceful place to stay. Better than the photos and cannot fault in any way. From relaxing by the fire pit in the evening in front of the lake to watching the wild rabbits, baby birds and wildlife in the morning and enjoying a hand delivered yummy breakfast in a basket. The whole site is clean, comfy, peaceful and has everything you need. Christine goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is everything you want and more. We will definitely be returning and for more than one night as we did not want to come home! Highly recommend ordering breakfast it was the best breakfast I’ve had from a stay and the cheapest too! Host are around if you need anything but respect your privacy. Honestly could not fault this if I tried.

Lovely little shepherds hut overlooking a beautiful small lake. It wasn’t as private as I thought it was going to be with other guests very nearby and charging facilities inside the hut are by usb only, something which I was unaware of. Unexpected fees for the logs for the fire place were also a surprise. However, all in all the stay was worth the price :)

Nice setting, extremely cosy inside the hut. If you want a glamping experience, it’s a nice place to visit. Just a few minor finishing touches would have made it a 5 star experience.
