We had an amazing stay at the off-grid cabin. I was nervous about the bathroom and shower amenities before arriving, but the property is really well built up and we had everything we needed. The views were absolutely spectacular and we loved being able to hike to a trail right from the cabin. We also loved the wood stove inside keeping us warm in the early October chill, the games and books available, and the floor cushions, which were surprisingly really comfortable! We were sad to leave this peaceful and quiet haven and are planning on coming back again!

We immediately felt at home and were able to decompress, settle in, and relax. It was exactly as we imagined, a beautiful view and full of peaceful nature. It checked all the boxes for a complete reset and slowing down. There were sounds of an owl, deer, and turkeys. A short hiking trail that led to some great mountain biking trails and the finger lakes trail right from the property. The cabin and buildout of the property had a lot of charm, character, and thoughtfulness. It was truly inspiring. Thank you for sharing your land and hospitality with us, we will surely be back!

We had a lovely time staying at Chris's cabin. The location was absolutely beautiful with a view of the mountains and lake and lots of goldenrod and aster blooming all around. Our two little dogs also loved the cabin, especially walking around outside and smelling new things. Chris built the cabin and surrounding buildings himself, and we really appreciated the results of his creativity and ingenuity. We enjoyed using the outdoor kitchen where we made a lovely breakfast of pancakes and strawberries. There's also everything you need to make good coffee, which in my book is very important. There are a lot of things to do and see in and around Naples. Some favorites were The Social Restaurant and Taproom, Hollerhorn Distillery, the Konstantin Winery, and eating grape pie from Cindy's Pies. We highly recommend a stay at Chris's cabin!

The cabin was the perfect place to relax and disconnect from the world. We spend some quality time with each other and our pup loved exploring the place. The view was amazing! The outdoor kitchen, shower and bathroom were easy to use and a big step up for us tent campers. We drove up only because of our 4WD pickup truck but Chris offered just in case, he was always attentive in case we needed anything during our stay. We’re very thankful to Chris for hosting us and hope to come back someday. I imagine the fall time must be even more beautiful!
