Comfortable and well appointed home. Private and quiet. Hot tub was great!
Collette and Brain were excellent hosts. Outstanding communication before check in and they were flexible letting us check out a. Hour late. The home is great. The design is straight out of the 80s in a great way. The main living room has no television which was awesome to encourage sitting by the fire enjoying the games that were provided. Wood for the fireplace was also provided which was a great feature. There were only two things that were a bit different about this home…no cable tv and no a/c. The lack of those two components did not effect us in a negative way, at all as we visited in the winter and had a laptop to connect for movies. Kitchen was excellent, well equipped. Hot tub was brand new and perfect. Over all a five star experience. Thank you, Collette and Brian.
The location and setting and large comfortable house with everything you need (including now your own private hot tub) were fantastic. We didn't want for anything at the house. We really enjoyed the real wood two-way fireplace with wood supplied. You can walk to a nearby indoor pool. We thoroughly enjoyed the Ranch's amenities, including a wonderful 1.5 hour trail ride through the Ponderosa Pines. We unfortunately came after the house had been empty for hot tub installation and it was not as clean as it should have been, but the host was responsive (offering to have cleaners come). It is not completely renovated, but everything was comfortable. If you're going in the winter, the heating system can be a little noisy. We closed the vents and put some of our stuff on top to keep the noise down.
Lovely home with comfortable living spaces. Very clean. Well stocked kitchen with a wide variety of pots, pans, dishes and other amenities . The hosts are very responsive and helpful. Nice deck. Fans provided but could not cool off the home on hot days. A wonderful, quiet location in Black Butte Ranch. Loved the bicycle paths. Photos and description of the home are accurate.
We had a lovely stay and would definitely rebook next time we come back to BBR. Lots of space and felt homely.
