This is the place to stay if you want privacy! The place was amazing!! The Wi-Fi doesnt work well upstairs so we would just suggest maybe they get a seperate Wi-Fi upstairs, but other than that everything was INCREDIBLE! We got the chef to cook us an amazing welcome dinner and it was sooooo good! Def will return soon!

Beautiful place and great staff. Unfortunately we were misled regarding the location of the villa. If you wish to be outside the main town of San Pedro the place is nice and quiet. Otherwise, it is important to know the location. Below is our letter to the managers and their kind response. Thank you. We write to apprise you of a few things regarding our stay here at Brahma Blue. 1. We expected to be staying in the town of San Pedro, that is why we reserved your villa. Your AirBnB location is misleading despite there being text qualifying that you need to take a boat to town. Taking the boat across the lagoon requires time and we had to be at our dive shop early for dives. It also puts us back at the villa later in the day, which was inconvenient. Your Airbnb text states: “Brahma Blue & Playa Villas Belize is a secluded boutique resort nested on its own private sanctuary with a unique location across the lagoon in the heart of San Pedro “La Isla Bonita” Ambergris Caye, Belize's most visited tourist destination. As this is a critical feature of your rental (where it is located) and nobody outside Ambergris Caye knows of “La Isla Bonita” you should make it very clear of the actual location for future guests is NOT in the heart of San Pedro. 2. You advertise that the villa has wi-fi; however, there is only wi-fi intermittently on the bottom floor and no wi-fi on the 2nd and 3rd floors. We were unable to keep work and personal commitments because we did not have wi-fi adequate for Zoom meetings or consistent communication.. 3. There is a mosquito issue here. You might consider netting around the bed or internal smoke-less, plug in system for repelling the bugs. This situation in addition to waiting outside for the lagoon boat made us vulnerable. 4. We had reservations for a couple’s massage Wednesday and nobody showed up. We see massage tables outside on the porch but no massage therapists arrived. 5. Lack of privacy. The benefit to being on this side of the lagoon is privacy. Please consider curtains on the windows to provide privacy for your guests. Also, each time we sat down for a meal, there were gardeners or cleaners working directly outside the villa’s curtainless windows. For someone who wants privacy and what Brahma Blue has to offer, it is a wonderful secluded villa; and the staff here is friendly and overall very accommodating. I hope our comments may be helpful to improve your future service. We greatly apologize if you were mislead by our description. At no time do we want to mislead any of our guest. So we will be reviewing our description and find to clearly state that we are located across the lagoon and you must take a 5 min boat ride to town. 2. being that we are not in the town, internet cannot be provided via fiber optic cables hence we are connect via wireless connection and transmits a lower freguency. We also have extenders in the villa to provide a wider range but i guess we must reset the connections to make it much stronger. 3. Unfortunately due to the rains over the past weeks the entire island has experience troubles with a larger population of mosquitoes. We do constant spraying of insecticides but due to your request for privacy we have not been able to do much around the villas. But again we will consider your suggestion of the plug ins. 4. We do apologize about the massage. I just checked with the main therapist about the situation and she stated to me that there was an urgent situation concerning her family that she needed to attend to. She left without notifying the office and so we could not get a replacement. She is willing to compliment you with a extra half hour on the next massage. 5. We have always had those curtains as no other guest ahs asked for much privacy. And our workers know to be decreet about doing attending to the guest. Pool and ground cleaning is done daily to make it appealing for the guest. Again another point to consider (more curtains) We take thank you for pointing out these little details. We will take into consideration the different points and will apply as necessary. We appreciate people as you that share their experience and help to make this better again thank you. enjoy the rest of your stay with us.
