Great location for us as we used the beach every day - good hike up the hill / path need to be reasonably fit! Nice accommodation and lovely grounds 👍

A lovely quiet barn conversion in the grounds of a larger country estate. Access down to the coastal path (and a beach) via a steepish track through a gate with a pin code (east end of the road in front of the cottage). Nice coffee shop just outside the estate (on the site of what search engines still describes as Rousdon Coffee even though that shut a year ago). Nice and peaceful but easy drive to places. It's about a 2 hour walk to Lyme Regis along the coastal path.

The location was beyond what we expected. The perfect private estate with a gate and a walk down to a magic 1 mile private beach. A gem!

A perfect cottage for a family holiday. Safe sunny garden and comfortable accommodation. The walk to the private beach is a bit tough but very worth it - glorious in the sunshine. The walks to Lyme Regis and to Seaton and around the estate are all excellent. There is just a 20 min drive to parking at Seatown, Sidmouth and others for the most fabulous walks imaginable! A real gem 😀
