It is a very sterile appartment complex next to the busy highway, a car dealership/mechanic and a gas station with a car wash. The car wash is operated all night and people actually wash their cars till midnight or beyond. This is very loud and the highway is loud as expected from a highway. Make sure you are ok with this situation, the pictures don't really show the distance (or lack of) to the highway. If you are in the pool area or on the outside area of the location you can see and hear the highway very clear. It is so close, you can see the make and models of the cars driving by. Also the outside area (table to eat, outdoor couch) is directly adjacent to the door of another flat. The door to door distance is like 3 meters. If both parties sit outside you basically sit on the same table. If you get on well with the people next door this might not be a problem. If you are searching for a base to explore 5terre and only stay there at night it is great. It has air conditioning which is not common for Airbnbs in this area. Due to the close proximity of the highway you can easily manouver to all directions. However staying here during the day is like living in an industrial area. It is loud, dirty and this complex has absolutely no italian soul. If you are inside you could not notice whether you are in italy, netherlands or australia. The communication with the host was spot on, any question or a small problem with the parking we had was handled within minutes. The cleaniless was a bit of a double sided sword, the cutlery was used, apparently not cleaned (even though there is a dishwasher) and the shower area was dirty. The bed and towels however were very clean.

This property is brand new and a wonderful place to stay if you’re travelling in the region. It’s sparking clean, grounds are immaculate, well situated and has everything you could possibly need. Service and communication are both fantastic, we loved our stay here!
