The apartment is part of our home so we request that you do not have parties, additional guests or visitors at the apartment. Quiet time from 22:30 until 07:00. Apartment 22 is suitable for a mature couple wanting comfortable, clean, quiet, well appointed accommodation. The apartment is above our home and is completely separate so it is very private. Entrance to the property is secured by an electric gate and a secure fence. There is a security camera that monitors the driveway and guest parking. Off-road parking for one vehicle is provided. The accommodation is spacious (approximately 50m2 indoors) and consists of an open plan living area / kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and deck. The living area / kitchen is a big open space with a dining table & chairs, a couch and TV with a DSTV Access. Free hi-speed Wi Fi is available. The kitchen is equipped with an electric 4-plate stove with oven, microwave oven, pots & pans, toaster & kettle. There is sufficient crockery and cutlery for a couple. For your convenience, a limited quantity of basic items like dish washing soap, dish cloths, dish towels, salt, pepper, sugar, tea, coffee and milk are provided (so you can enjoy a cup of coffee on arrival). The bedroom has a comfortable extra length queen size bed, dressing table with a hair dryer and built in cupboard. There are extra blankets in the bedroom cupboard. A ceiling fan helps keep our guests cool on those very hot days. In the bathroom you will find a toilet, hand basin and shower. Shower and hand towels are provided as are shower gel and shampoo. The deck has a retractable awning to provide shade, a built in braai and a bench / table set. Beach towels are provided. The closest beach (Estuary mouth) is a quick drive or a 20 minutes’ walk. Other beaches include Myoil (Pili Pili), Cola and Swartvlei are close by. There is an outside cold water shower in the garden for you to rinse off after returning from the beach. With our newly installed solar battery system, load shedding only impacts the availability of the electric stove. All other electric appliances and lights run off our batteries.
