This house was adequate for two people. There are two bar stools at the kitchen island to sit at, but the nice front porch was more comfortable. The loft offers a king bed on the floor, but with the low ceiling you have to crawl in and out of the space and down a step staircase to get to the bathroom which is through the main bedroom. We tried to respect the water conservation need by taking quick showers and not flushing the toilet with every use. We kept a bottle of water in the bathroom for brushing teeth and rinsing out our tooth brushes. It all became quite tedious. We drove into Terlingua (about 15 minutes) for dining, which was fun. There is quick easy access to the west entrance of Big Bend too.

This was a nice, comfortable and clean tiny house about 10 minutes from Terlingua and a good home base to explore the Big Bend area. You do need to bring drinking water but that was not a problem at all. The power went out twice due to high winds and Colton was great with communicating this.

This place was absolute life! It was just enough in a spectacularly private setting with all the modern conveniences and thoughtful touches throughout the home. Preserved dark sky which was perfect for stargazing and stunning views of the sunrise and sunset. It’s also conveniently located within 10 minutes to both Big Bend National and Regional State Parks, as well as Terlingua Ghost Town and restaurants. Highly recommend if staying in the area!

Cat's Tiny House is a great place to spend time relaxing and enjoying the peaceful evenings. The front porch is perfect for watching the sunrise and the colors of sunset on the mountains to the east. We wished we had stayed a couple more days! Most important take away is to take plenty of drinking water with you. The tap water is not potable.
