We booked this house for a last minute trip over the 4th of July weekend…nothing fancy but everything we wanted and needed. The location is quiet, and the surroundings beautiful. Would definitely stay again.

BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS. ALL OF THEM. Dish towels, bath towels, beach towels, hand towels. This message was hidden in AirBnB's amenities list, so I can't exactly blame the host. "Essentials" includes towels, linens, toilet paper, and other things necessary to stay away from home. This place lacked the "Essentials" of any towels. They did accurately leave Essentials off the "Amenities" list, but it wasn't super clear and you really needed to read the fine print to figure it out. This did make it more difficult for people traveling by plane with limited suitcase space (us). We managed for the 2 nights, but it would have been annoying to stay for longer (either we would have had to buy towels, or cycle the beach towels through the washer/dryer daily, or 2x per day). Other than that, and the long list of things to do when checking out (sweep the floor, make the beds after peeling off the linens from the beds that you borrowed (assuming you didn't bring your own) among other more reasonable things (take out the trash, empty the fridge, etc.)), the place was very nice. Screened in back porch - upper and lower - was great at keeping bugs out while being able to enjoy a quiet evening. The location was about a mile and a half from the main downtown area, but this was fantastic as it was quiet at night.
