Lovely location, beautiful views from the porch. Very quiet. Great walks to do around (best having a bike or a car to get closer to the nature walks). The town is certainly much quieter in the winter with a number of commerces closed for the holiday season. Seaside activities such as kayaking, boating, poney rides, etc. are also unavailable until spring, but the reserve is open with multiple beautiful trails and the wild poneys are easily spotted in the marches. The house was warm and homely and very well equipped (all good quality appliances, cutlery, cookware, kitchenware, and dome essential pantry items and cleaning products). Do bring your linens and towels or kindly ask if they can be provided. It is an old wood house that is hard to keep dust-free despite the Hepa filter setup. Probably not suitable if you are asthmatic.

Everything about the house was great, the owner was very understanding of the problem, evolve, completely failed to manage the reservation. I wanted to cancel, because the reason of the trip was to see a rocket launch that got canceled. After the fact, I found out the owner, had authorized a full refund of the trip, but evolve never communicated that with me until the day before I was to arrive. Plus, when I had a question about the house, they pushed it off with me to communicate with someone else, to get the answer, rather than taking responsibility, and finding the answer themselves. I will never rent a house managed by Evolve again!

Schitterend gelegen en overal rondom zitjes en veel water. Fantastisch met mooi weer. Met kouder weer ook geschikt, want het wordt snel warm binnen en het is knus.
