The Townsend Lodge is our favorite close to home escape. We love the cabin and all of the beauty outside on the property. Aaron and Tina are so accommodating every time we stay at the lodge. Can’t wait to go back!

The pictures actually don't do justice to this place. Absolutely beautiful, huge, peaceful and a wonderful place to spend family time. We only spent one night and it was a wonderful experience. One thing that isn't noted but is noteworthy, is the on-demand water heater so the hot water never runs out even if you have showers happening back to back. The only very small cons were the ants in the kitchen, and none of the deadbolts on the doors lined up; I had to haul up on the doors to get them to latch. Quite a few burned out lightbulbs as well. But really, none of this was a big deal, everything was clean, fresh towels, EXTREMELY comfy beds. Every one of them has a memory foam mattress. We will be back!

We spent a wonderful peaceful weekend at the lodge and it was better than the description. It had beautiful surroundings and we felt at home, and so did our little dogs.😊 We would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone staying in the area!

What a phenomenal experience! Happened to run into Aaron at the end of the stay and was treated to a personalized tour of the event venue as well. Truly an exceptional facility, and wonderful hosts!
