Nithin and Meena aunty are fantastic hosts. We felt enveloped by their warmth right from the time we arrived and throughout our four-day stay with them. They really did pull all the stops to ensure we were comfortable and were great company. After reading all the reviews, we ate all our meals at the bnb and were blown away. Aunty is a great cook and the flavours and freshness of her food is something we'd never experienced before. You can taste Coorg's rich culinary heritage in every bite and the tastes have lingered in our minds for weeks now. The property itself is really tranquil, with a lot of greenery, fruit trees, and a serene pond. We bird watched, sat around lazing and reading on the porch and went on short walks to a nearby river to pass time. Highly recommended to all and will definitely go back.

We stayed for a day at Nithin's place. We had a smooth check in. The place was exactly as shown in the photos. Nithin's mom was so humble and the food she provided felt like home. It's a simple and calm homestay away from city traffic and noise. Best place to take off from hectic city life.

Would like to really thank Nithin and his mom for the great hospitality. It felt like home away from home. The food is authentic and delicious. There’s also a small pond behind the cottage where one can spend a lot of time. We had a great time here and would love to visit again.

I have known this place and family before AirBNB had a presence in India. My experience here is very special and personal to me. So, instead of a review, I'll just give out some useful info for first-time visitors. Firstly, this is not in the mountains but the foothills. It's a bit off from the center of Kushalnagar. A vehicle of your own is highly recommended. A four-wheeler is advisable. Parking inside premises is convenient. There is no AC or TV, not that you'd need them anyway. There's a mini fridge, which is very convenient. As of now, you'll be the only guests and have the whole premise to your own, which I think is great. The Harangi elephant camp and dam are really close by, 10 mins max. I believe these are the best places to visit with kids and family in Kushalnagar as the more popular Nisargadhama and Namdroling Monastery seem to be way crowded these days. Lastly, I strongly suggest having food at the stay only - it's delectable and saves you the travel time.
