Such a neat home and location. There is a great view out to the mountains to one side of the home while the other side backs up to the woods with a creek and waterfall you can listen to. The retro decor was a blast , and we enjoyed the Bose radio playing the local French radio stations ( we're from Virginia). It was cloudy and snowing during our visit but I imagine the star gazing would be amazing. such a fun experience!

This is the perfect spot to truly let go. Calm, very clean and full comfort. I recommand without hesitation.

Orchard House was lovely and just as pictured- the kids loved the retro decor :-) The home was really thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need. There were lots of games and toys for the kids in the basemen bedroom, and the laundry closet had all the random items you might need but forget to pack (e.g., sunblock, Benadryl lotion, razors, etc.). Kitchen was equally well stocked, both with cookware and stuff like butter, salt, pepper, cooking oil, etc. Katherine was responsive and helpful. The location is remote and quiet, and an easy 20 min drive to Jay Peak. We had a great stay and definitely recommend to others!!

Loved the place. Cute, comfortable, and quiet. Just wish it had hot water for a shower/bath. Really need it for a 5 day stay.

The orchard house was everything I was looking for in a quiet weekend away. It was on a quiet road but very easy to find with the clear instructions to check in. The home was very clean and I loved the vintage style throughout. The bed was incredibly comfortable and huge! There was some snow on the ground so we were able to trek through the fields towards the river and it was gorgeous and we left behind a snowman and snow angels. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for ourselves and Katherine gave us great recommendations for classic Vermont maple syrup and cheese. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for an escape from the hustle of normal life.
