We booked Inn on the River for our last minute trip to Wausau for skiing. We were so happy there was availability! Margaret's Inn is truly beautiful. The house is a well designed and quality home, well decorated, spacious, comfortable. Our room was large with a comfy bed and great linens. The photos really do not do it justice. Dan and Margaret were very friendly, but gave us our privacy. We had an amazing breakfast in their sunroom. We could have stayed all day! We will be back!

Our second time staying here and it was wonderful. Cozy room, great food, cute dogs! Margaret and Dan are so nice and really take care of their guests.

Dan and Margaret were wonderful hosts. The accommodations were top notch and very friendly. We enjoyed sitting out by the river under dark sky and stars, while the location is close to town and its many conveniences! We'll definitely be back for future stays!

I love this place! It’s quiet, you get your privacy, the outside is amazing. Rooms are always so clean, Dan & Margaret are great host. I recommend 100% staying here
