John’s home was fabulous. Close to the beach. House had everything we needed. We look forward to going back next year.

Excellent place to stay with a large family! Plenty of room for everyone to have their own privacy. Far enough away from the pier, yet close enough to walk to it. Loved the extra beach items he had available for use. Kids loved the upstairs game room! Would definitely recommend this place to stay at.

The place was just what we needed. It comfortably fit 11 of us with room to spare. The kitchen had everything we could think of and allowed us to make most of our meals for the week. The kids loved the game room and having the extra living space for the adults was amazing. We were able to walk to surrounding attractions, and John was extremely responsive and helpful.

We really enjoyed old orchard beach! Overall the place worked well for our vacation- we had two families with 4 kids and the grandparents. The location is a little bit of a haul up hill coming back from the beach if you’re pulling kids, but we felt like we got our exercise for the week. The beds were all ok- nothing outstanding. It was a very comfortable living room and the game room upstairs was a fun touch to keep the kids busy. We had some issues with a musty smell in the downstairs bedroom and the mini splits not cooling the rooms very well but John was extremely responsive when we reached out. We were a little disappointed to find all the hand soaps were watered down when we arrived and the house supplies were not the best quality (trash bags ripping). Overall we had slightly higher expectations based on the cost.

John and Ajoulyn have a great place in OOB. The house is a short walk to a really nice beach and is also a short ride from the pier. Distance wise it's also less than 30 minutes to Portland which works out well when traveling with kids. The house was spacious and had some fun amenities like basketball and arcade games. A couple of things came up during our visit like having trouble with the backdoor and John and Ajoulyn were extremely responsive reading and responding to messages within minutes. We enjoyed our stay!
