It was dark when we arrived so we couldn’t see the surroundings… and when we woke up in the morning- wow! What an amazing experience to wake up and the first thing to see is a gorgeous bank of trees. We were thankful for the fireplace- we definitely needed it- even at the end of April. We brought our own fire-starter log so starting it was a breeze! The sound of the river was extremely peaceful. However, we were unable to wash up in it because there were no towels provided. There weren’t any towelettes provided either. Had to do a makeshift cleanup with a bowl of water and cheap toilet paper. 😬 While we were eating breakfast, an eagle landed right outside our window and watched us. That was pure magic. Overall, it was a great experience! I would definitely stay again. But would bring my own personal body wipes and towels just in case.

Glamping in a dome was a first for us! It was a great experience and the location was perfect. We lucked out to be the only ones there. Nice and relaxing!

First of all, the FAQ was on point! They are very truthful in their description. The directions listed were not for the way we came in. We came from the opposite side so the directions weren't accurate. We didn't check in until almost 8pm due to being lost. You have no cell service which was fine with us. However, it would have been helpful since we came from the other direction. The dome was pretty cool and my kids loved it. We only stayed one night. We think in the future we will come when it is warmer and not so cold. The last 3-5 feet of the steps leading down to the creek were pretty treacherous. A lot of rock was missing and it was slippery. However, we had the best time. We had one set of neighbors for the trip and they were so nice. We both had dogs and neither of us had any issues. Although camping or "glamping" is not our thing the boys have always wanted to go. We can check it off our list! As my kids say, "we are creatures of electricity ".
