This was a very nice cottage in the village of Chudleigh, very close to shops and pubs and with easy road access. Parking was in a nearby public car park, for which a permit was included in the price. The cottage was well fitted out, plenty of storage space (coat hangers in the wardrobes were very welcome), and everything we needed in the kitchen. It was very comfortable, nice and warm and with comfortable beds. We had a minor problem with the door lock on the first day but the owner was able to fix this remotely for us - he offered to come to the cottage to sort it out but this was not necessary as we had no further problems. We were made to feel welcome, with just the right level of communication to ensure we were not having any problems. I would happily return here for another stay in the future.

We have stayed in Jonathan's place a number of times: it is extremely convenient for the town and it is always in tip-top condition.

An enjoyable stay at Jonathan’s cottage. However we noticed a few issues with cleanliness……a lot of hair & dirt residue build up in and around the bath & bathroom floors. Pots & pans were greasy and lots of crumbs and debris on shelves in kitchen. I purchased some cleaning products from the local Co-op as only a tiny bit of spray and a very old, worn sponge in the property. It didn’t detract too much from our stay but was slightly disappointing. The location of the cottage is great for walking into the town and parking is in the local car park just a minute away - all arranged prior using a permit. Overall a pleasant stay in a lovely moorland town.

Very good and comfortable accommodation near to all amenities. This is not the first time we have used the cottage when we come down to visit our son as we know the excellent standard that Jonathan keeps. Would highly recommend it.
