Immerse yourself into the vintage atmosphere of an authentic "casa di ringhiera", get a taste of the real old Milan and live the neighborhood like a local. It will make you feel like you have been dropped in the middle of a Fellini’s or Rossellini’s movie set! Three adjectives to describe my apartment: Cozy, Calm, and Intimate. It's a traditional milanese old-fashioned loft in a former balcony house with an internal courtyard. The space has preserved intact the charm of old Milan, a place where time seems to have stood still. It features exposed wood ceiling beams and parquet flooring, windows overlooking a park and a private balcony with a table where you can enjoy breakfast during sunny days or sip a glass of wine before heading up for dinner and enjoy the lively Navigli district. The apartment has all the essentials amenities necessary for making you feel at home. There's a fully equipped chef’s kitchen, including a Nespresso coffee machine, a king-size bed with real goose feather comforter and double pillows for your comfort, a bathroom with a shower, a set of 100% cotton towels which comes in three different sizes, a washing machine, air conditioning, a spacious closet, and a fast and reliable internet connection. PLEASE NOTE: The accommodation is located on the second floor with no elevator.

Liebe Stella, danke dir für den tollen Aufenthalt in deinem Apartment. Es war exakt wie beschrieben und sah aus wie auf den Bildern. Wir haben uns sofort wie Zuhause gefühlt - wirklich ein sehr toller Platz! Ein Ort, an dem Italien authentisch erlebbar ist und der zudem noch ruhig ist und sich wie ein Zuhause anfühlt. Wir waren komplett begeistert. Danke auch dir Stella für deine schnellen Antworten, deine hilfreichen Tipps und die unkomplizierte und schnelle Abwicklung (obwohl wir so spontan gebucht haben und 30 Minuten später schon da waren). Ich kann wirklich allen empfehlen, dieses Apartment zu buchen. Wenn wir wieder in Mailand sind, werden wir definitiv zurückkommen. Es ist mitten in der Stadt, aber trotzdem komplett ruhig und man hört die Vögel im Innenhof. Sehr bequemes Bett und alles sehr sauber. Tolle Lage, tolles Apartment und tolle Gastgeberin! Bisher das beste Airbnb das ich je gesehen habe. Vielen Dank!

I could not recommend Stella’s apartment more. Stella‘s place is absolutely beautiful and in the perfect location! We felt right at home and staying at Stella‘s place improved our stay in Milan significantly! To top it off, Stella gave us the most thoughtful and lovely local recommendations - she was super responsive and went the extra mile to ensure that our stay in Milan was perfect. The apartment is strategically located in one of the most hip neighborhood between Navigli district, Darsena docklands, Duomo Cathedral, Via Torino shopping street, and Tortona design district.
It only takes a short walk to get from the Navigli to the city center: just walk down Via Torino and you’ll reach the Duomo.
It is one of the most popular district, it boasts countless cafés, bars and eateries, many artisan and craft shops, vintage markets and antique fairs during the weekend, which take full advantage of their picturesque canalside positions and bohemian atmosphere.
The area can be reached by either tram (lines #3, 9, 10, 14) or subway (M2 P.ta Genova / M1 and M3 Duomo).
